Review of Skarungen: A Family-Friendly Coastal RetreatOur recent family vacation at Skarungen offered a memorable experience, particularly for those traveling with children. We initially booked a glamping tent but were kindly informed of inclement weather. We appreciated the proactive approach from the staff, who offered us a cozy cabin instead-no extra charge! The cabin, while compact, was well-designed with large darkened windows, providing both privacy and stunning views of the surrounding mountains and water. Our children enjoyed the outdoor seating area, a lovely spot to relax after hours spent exploring. The dog was also welcomed, even into the restaurant during our delightful breakfasts, which featured freshly baked buns. During our two-night stay, we found the location convenient-just a short drive from Svolvaer airport-and ideal for family-friendly hikes. the nearby trails offered a perfect mix of adventure and beauty, suitable for little ones. The attentive staff and scenic surroundings made our family feel right at home. Skarungen presents a welcoming atmosphere for families eager to explore the captivating Nordic landscape.
